Victor Reinz is a global leader in non-asbestos fiber materials.  These premium materials are now available from AFGCO.  Available in sheets or cut parts, Victor Reinz materials are preferred  by OEMs around the world from industrial to commercial, chemical plants, refineries, food processing, shipbuilding, power generation, beverage, air conditioning, heating and refrigeration, gas and water installations - Flanges, valves, tanks, radiators, compressors, pumps, plate heat exchangers, and ammonia sealing applications. AFGCO can supply your Victor Reinz requirements.
 
Sponge.  AFGCO processes a variety of closed cell and open cell sponge materials.  We process silicone and UL rated sponge.  We also die cut and slit neoprene and blended sponge materials.  AFGCO cuts cross-linked polyethylene in natural (white) and black in two and four pound densities.

Felt.  From SAE wool grades to synthetics, pressed or needled, AFGCO can recommend felts for applications including bearing seals, filters, oil seals, polishing, wicks, dust shields, acoustical needs and more.  Tell us about your own application and AFGCO will help select a material for you.
 
Interface Solutions (Armstrong) materials.  Email or call us for all your non-asbestos gasket materials from Interface Solutions (formerly Armstrong).  AFGCO is a leading VAN member dedicated to processing and distributing Interface materials.  Contact us for all grades of Interface materials, RN-8011, N-8092, CS-301, MP-15, CMP-4000, VB-72 to name just a few.
 
Insulation materials.  AFGCO has a variety of materials that meet the insulation requirements for most applications.  FORMEX and FORMEX GK are flame retardant grades of polypropylene and offer high dielectric strength, low moisture absorption and UL 94V-O flame class rating.  AFGCO also offers Nomex and other dielectric materials.
 

3M™ Form-in-Place Gasket FIPG is an epoxy-based resin system, ideal for sealing hard disk drive covers. This epoxy-based, elastomer material is designed for use on hard disk drive covers, serving as both a reusable gasket and contamination barrier.

 

AFGCO is a 3M Converter.

 1. Polymer Edge - A custom engineered polymer edge taller than the thickness of the carrier material provides the first barrier against leaks. The edge conforms to flange irregularities when compressed, which results in outstanding permeation resistance to fluids and gasses.

2. Intrusion Zone - The polymer edge is applied directly to the pores of the structural carrier and creates a narrow band of high density material between the edge and the carrier structure. This intrusion of the edge provides a high stress concentration under compression making it an effective second sealing barrier. This also results in an edge that is strongly bonded to the structural carrier.

3. Structural Carrier - The third barrier is the structural carrier, which is responsible for locating and adapting the polymer edge to the joint, and carrying the compressive and dynamic loads created by the joint. The carrier provides compressive strength, shear strength, and high surface friction resulting in long-term durability.
